As we arrived at @NorfolkCC HQ, something about the cycle lane directing us into the sharp edge of a sign made us suspect they're not great at #space4cycling! @NorwichCycling @bollocksinfra @Ed_Colman @SmudgeThomas https://t.co/kJ5BLcASZb

It would be good to have a cycle-friendly crossing here for access from the north to Norwich station (not just the roundabout official route to the south).

There should be cycle parking here at Norwich Castle - but space for wedding cars is more lucrative.

Typical - rather than just 'End of Cycleway' there should be a cycleway arrow to the right.

Two-stage crossing on this radial pedalway, Norwich - it needs to be single-stage.

Minimal signage where the pedalway takes a massive jink at the Jarrold Bridge, Norwich

It's a shame that the side road still has to give way to the non-existent motor traffic from the bridge.

Confused signage - there was meant to be a two-way cycleway on the near side of the road, but then Norfolk highways department realised there had to be more space for buses, so the on-road cycle lane was left on the far side of the road.

This car-dominated roundabout is a gap in the shared-use path along the A11 in Norwich - apparently something may be done after the May 2018 local elections.

This crossing has not been improved as part of the shared-use route along the A11 in Norwich - apparently something might happen after the May 2018 local elections.

A barrier that prevents standard cycles from getting through on a signed cycle route

Unfortunately routing a cycle lane across a queue to a car park doesn't work.

Barriers prevent use by all types of bicycles.

Barriers prevent use of this path by most bicycles.

Unnecessary barriers at the junction of Cricket Way and the cycleway along Three Score Road. Note the bypass route on the left.

Anti cycling barriers where Cricket Way crosses Bishy Barnebee Way. A cargo bike cannot easily go through.

Overflowing bike parking outside Norwich shopping Centre.

Poorly maintained dedicated pedestrian and cycle route combined with very rough surface, numerous exits and entrances and one dismount instruction. The route is used by pedestrians and cyclists going to and from UEA university and potential ... [more]

There should be an Except Cycles plate under the No Right Turn sign - that's a contraflow cycle lane.

Worn-out contraflow cycle lane and No Cycling sign that presumably refers to the footway to the right.

No level access to this riverside path in Norwich

Large roundabouts like this (Chaplefield Road) are a big deterrent to cycling. Would you take your children across this ? ASLs on the approaches help a little ( #18776 )

It is a good concept - using a toucan crossing to link Cow Drive (leads to UEA and the hospital) to The Avenues (for the city centre) - but poor execution. Just look at all of those barriers seperating cyclists, pedestrians and road traf ... [more]

A second cycle crossing of the River Yare is desperately needed to improve connections between the new developments around Thickthorn / Round House Way with the city centre. This footbridge is ideally positioned, although it would need t ... [more]
