The Pink Pedalway between the Yare and the University

Bollards protect people emerging from the path on the left. Great to see the bollards have reflectors and are marked by while lines.

The Pink Pedalway crosses the road here on a raised table. Additionally there is a protected merge lane to the main carriageway.

The Yellow Pedalway, aka Lakenham Way, is a well used shared use route of about 2.5m width. The proposal is to change this to a 2m footway and 3m segregated cycle track with improved landscaping.

Cycle / service road bridge linking UEA to the hospital campus. This is the ONLY crossing point for cyclists over the River Yare between the A11 and the B1108 Earlham Rd, neither of which are cycle friendly.
